My Dream Articles

These are articles I've written on the subject of dreams, not subjects I dream I could write about. What I dream about being paid to write about are the dreams I have of Peter Gabriel, especially the lucid ones. Ah, but I guess I can dream...

My Asthma Articles

Photo by Larry Fast of Peter before a show in Cardiff, Wales in 1980. The saddest thing about this photo is that I recognised Peter even before I read the photographer's remarks. Anyway, here Peter is apprantly doing something to keep his throat from going sore...at least, that what he says he's doing. Well, blow me down, Peter.

My Migraine Articles

With migraines, you often see hallucinations and hear them, too. But I think Peter just did a little too much partying around New Year's, probably with Bono, Steve Martin and the Italian Olympic snowboarding team.

As I am a migraineur (a fancy word meaning "person who suffers from migraines") I have, sadly, a lot of experience dealing with migraines.  Here is a small sampling of the hundreds of articles I've written about migraines.

My Cell Phone Articles

Here Peter is donating one of his old cell phones to save the world somehow. He is a great believer in saving the world through "mo-bi-el" phones (as he pronounces them).

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out if it is worth re-activating my cell phone. I still think that in twenty or thirty years, cell phones will result in a lot of brain tumors. When that day comes, I will righteously resist the urge to say "Told you so!"

My Arty-Farty Critical Articles

Here, Peter looks how I feel about art, music, movie or literary critics. However, every now and then I get paid to produce such articles. These are the times I'm glad my name isn't on the by-line. Some people write porn, I write criticsm. But I'm an English major, so I'm actually qualified to dash hopes and dreams.

From Smart-Advices:
"I Love Your Band! Which One Is Luna Halo?" (This is about a band, but it's on a video games site. Oookkaaayyyy...)

From guide-to-perfume.com:

My Celiac Disease Articles

When you have Celiac disease (gluten intolerance), you have to be careful of anything that you put into your mouth. Could that be one possible explanation why Peter no longer plays the flute?
