Yes, Peter Gabriel is my big unrequited love. However, he's been the best boyfriend I've ever had. He never eats the last donut, he doesn't talk during the best parts of Star Trek and I don't have to deal with his family. Come to think of it, I'm a lucky gal.

My Mad Cow Articles
From WebMD (written by WebMD folks, not me):
You don't hear much about mad cow disease anymore. Here are links to my mad cow articles for anyone nostalgic for the good old days when mad cow disease made headlines around the world:The disease can affect all age groups and is very hard to diagnose until it has nearly run its course. In the early stages of vCJD, people have symptoms related to the nervous system, like depression and loss of coordination. Later in the illness, dementia develops. But only in advanced stages of the disease can brain abnormalities be detected by MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). vCJD is fatal, usually within 13 months of the onset of symptoms.

My England Articles
Peter shows how everyone dresses in England. I spent just over five years in England and, although most of that time I was homeless, miss England like crazy. If I didn't have family commitments in America, I'd live in England.
Then again, I don't know if I'm allowed back in England...

My Writing Tips
I've been writing professionally since 2006. However, if you were to add up the value of everything I've written, it still would not scratch the surface of anything Peter Gabriel has written.
Here, PG is kindly giving autographs. This is a fan photo I found on the web somewhere, taken ca. 2010.

My Autograph Articles
Currently, most of the web content about collecting autographs that I've written is no longer up. Perhaps they'll pop back up somewhere soon, due to the nature of the Internet. In the meantime, enjoy these image of Peter Gabriel autographs. Yes, he has the handwriting of a genius.

My Tree Articles
In his 2008 TED talk, Peter Gabriel announced that he liked trees. You know what? So do I. Life would be better with more trees in it and less people. When I was homeless, I expereincened very few advantages, but one of them was surrounding myself with trees instead of people.
The image of Peter here was taken not too far from where I lived on the banks of the River Avon. I'm afraid I don't know who the photographer is of this lovely image.
The following is a small selection of tree articles I've written since 2006.
From Yahoo! Voices:

Protecting Trees and Shrubs From Wild Rabbits (Shooting the rabbits is not an option)

From eHow, who would give me the weirdest titles you can imagine:
A Silver Birch Compared to a Leopard Tree
Can Black Ants Kill a Tree? (Short answer: No)
Do Ants Eat the Roots of Fruit Trees? (Also no)
Insects Under the Bark on Maple Trees
Can Mole Crickets Kill an Oak Tree? (Short answer: yes, in some cases)
Tree Fungus Control
Pecan Tree Worms
What Kind of Trees Will Woodpeckers Peck?

My Peter Gabriel Concert Reviews
I've only been to a large handful of Peter Gabriel concerts since 1987 (damn -- they're expensive!) but have managed to make back about $20 with these reviews.

What Peter Gabriel Looks Like in My Dreams
I've been dreaming about Peter Gabriel since 1986. I'm not sure who I love more -- the real Peter Gabriel or the one I dream about. The web abounds in hundreds of PG images. I can't possibly collect them all (and, quite frankly, some pictures of PG out there are less than flattering.)
So how do I choose which image to download? If the image closely resembles the PG in my dreams. I can't post these images to my sleep and dreaming blog, Dreaming of Peter so they're going here.

Resurrecting rraven's ghostwritten whispers
Hi, there. I know it's been a few years since I last posted on this blog. I'm going to be resurrecting it, but it's going to go in a different direction.
Originally, this blog acted as an online portfolio of the web content I've written -- articles, blogs, product descriptions, reviews - stuff like that -- but I write hundreds of pieces of content a year and so trying to find and list them all became an impossible task.
Now, I'm going to concentrate on displaying my Peter Gabriel digital image collection while occassionally making links to stuff I wrote that may go with the photo. Since I last posted in this blog, my computer's hard drive crashed twice and SolsburyHill.org and it's huge library of PG photos went offline. This blog would make a nice back-up, as well as displaying both the images and some of my work.
Also, I need to put these images online somehow so I can pin them on Pinterest. An ongoing project, you can take a look at my Peter Gabriel pinboard. If you're sick of Peter Gabriel but want some more eye candy, then you can look at Men Other Than Peter Gabriel. If you want to know about writing, check out My Writing Tips.
I still write about Peter Gabriel news in my first blog, The Perfect Blog Title (yes, I know that's not exaclt the perfect blog title but it's too late to change it now.) Dreams I have of Peter are sometimes talked about on my monetized blog, Dreaming of Peter. Because that is a monetized blog, I cannot risk posting any images that might be copyrighted.
And if you're a long time Peter Gabriel fan and haven't figured it out by now, the image above to the left is Photoshopped that a fan did in 2010 to celebrate PG's 60th birthday. PG's hair divorced PG back in 1997.
Enjoy!
